About Scholarship
The Weil Family Foundation Scholarship - Borrego Springs may be awarded to current graduating seniors or students who have already graduated from Borrego Springs High School who plan to enroll at an institution in the United States in fall. Applicants must be involved in the community through their participation in extra-curricular or religious activities or volunteer or work experience. A letter of recommendation from someone who knows the applicant from an academic perspective is required, in addition to the scholarship application. Scholars are required to identify a personal mentor by November 1st of their freshman college year. This mentor is ideally an upperclassman from a background similar to the applicant. Students must have resided in San Diego County for at least one year. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the San Diego Foundation for more information.
