About Scholarship
The Florida Gulf Coast University Out-of-State Waiver Scholarship is awarded to students classified as Non-Florida Residents for tuition purposes. All applicants will be reviewed and ranked according to GPA. The review committee will also take into consideration other factors as presented on the application including outstanding leadership, civic engagement, and demonstrated talents or other activities critical to the FGCU mission. This award covers the difference in tuition between out-of-state and in-state tuition. This waiver will cover nine (9) credit hours per semester for the Fall and Spring semesters only.
