About Scholarship
The Finnup Scholarship is given to students with priority consideration to Finney County residents, followed by students residing in Gray, Hamilton, Haskell, Hodgeman, Kearny, Lane, and Scott Counties. If funds remain, scholarships can also be awarded to students who reside in Clark, Comanche, Ford, Grant, Greeley, Meade, Morton, Ness, Seward, Stanton, Stevens, and Wichita (County). Applicants must live on campus during their freshmen year. In addition to the $5,000 award, recipients have the opportunity to participate in the Finnup Scholars Academy before the beginning of the fall semester and a study abroad international experience during their time at Washburn.
