Applicants must be active members of Church of the Grove, or of a church or religious organization whose primary doctrines are consistent with those established by Church of the Grove. Applicants should be involved with its programs, such as a youth group, or the church's ministry such as children's education ministry, ushering, greeting, mission trips, participation on the worship team or some similar activity. Applicants must have graduated, or will graduate from a certified high school or commensurate GED program or equivalent education certification. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or GED equivalency score of at least 110 percent of the minimum passing score. Applicants must also exemplify Christian character. Graduate school applicants may be considered, however preference will be given to applicants seeking undergraduate or vocational skills training. The scholarship may be renewed for up to four years. Applicants must submit one letter of recommendation from a pastoral or ministerial leader who has personal knowledge of their theological philosophy and activities.
