About Scholarship
The Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program provides support to Ohio residents who wish to pursue degrees in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or medicine (STEM). Funding through the Choose Ohio First program provides competitive scholarships towards tuition and other college costs while also providing expanded mentorship and career preparation programming. This scholarship is open to first-year students, transfer students (first-time degree-seeking at Kent State University), or students declaring an eligible major for the first time. Undergraduate or graduate Ohio residents or Ohio residents returning to Ohio for graduate school after completing undergraduate studies in other states or countries are eligible to apply.
