About Scholarship
Alice Ruud, as Waterville School Librarian for over 30 years, loved matching students with books creating many enthusiastic readers. Her next service was a career advisor challenging students to think about 'what they would like to be when they grew up' and providing college and scholarship information to make that happen. Alice inspired countless students to continue their education at Universities, Community Colleges and Trade Schools. This scholarship was created in her memory to help Waterville High School students achieve their dreams for continued education. Applicants must have the status of graduating high school senior or prior graduate.
